1. Familiarize yourself with our Academic Programs

The Design Studies Institute offers a professional certificate program with three concentrations and two graduate degree programs. It is important to understand our academic programs and how they align with your own creative ambitions and career aspirations.

2. Review the application requirements and deadlines

Admission to each of Design Studies Institute’s programs requires meeting a specific set of requirements. It is important to understand the application requirements for the program in which you’re interested in applying to. It is important to make note of upcoming application deadlines so that you can plan accordingly to complete your application prior to the deadlines.

3. Submit your application and required materials

You will complete the admissions application and compile the required materials for your Academic Program online via Slideroom. Unofficial documents, like transcripts or English proficient test scores, can be used as part of your application. Once admitted, you will need to submit official copies of any unofficial document to the Admissions Office prior to your matriculation.

4. Get to know the DSI Community

Prospective students are invited to attend public DSI events and meet other students, staff and faculty. Prospective students may also be invited to participate in an interview with the admissions committee or with faculty members upon the submission of a complete admissions application with all required materials.

5. Review your application decision

After you apply, you will receive an email with your admission decision.
