This course introduces the fundamental theories and principles that shape interior design. Students explore the design process, visual perception, and spatial conceptualization by applying the principles of design to generate interior solutions. Students develop skills in spatial planning, circulation, lighting, materials, and finishes to create functional interior layouts that meet user needs. Students will practice 2D/3D design presentations that illustrate the interplay between aesthetics and the theoretical underpinnings of interior design focused on human-centered environments
