Course Description

This interdisciplinary course integrates knowledge from various fields to explore the complex interplay between human activities, technologies, and natural/built environments. Students will gain theoretical and practical knowledge on designing integrated systems that positively impact how we live our lives sustainably, equitably, and resiliently. Topics may include principles of systems thinking, design, technology, and social/cultural dimensions of environmental sustainability. Through collaborative projects and critical reflection, students will develop skills in research, analysis, synthesis, communication, and presentation, preparing them to design innovative and impactful systems for the future.
