Instruction in research in the design disciplines through a guided research inquiry under the mentorship of a supervising faculty member. Focus is placed on developing research questions, refining future dissertation research ideas through the development of a dissertation proposal, conducting small scale pilot-studies, or co-authoring research with the supervising faculty member.
