The world is visual; leverage visual communication to convey a message. This course focuses on the essential elements of graphic design: composition, typography, color, layout, and general graphic techniques. Techniques of graphic design will be applied to 2D forms, including logos, branding, packaging, posters, and the like. Students will experiment with design software (Adobe Illustrator) to develop a strong command of visual communication.
